Rebecca Plutino- General Manager

Rebecca moved to NM in 1975 from Michigan and became immediately enchanted with the beauty of the landscapes, climate, history and cultures of the State. She has held many positions in the hotel industry from working in HR, to Catering, to Sales and has been a General Manager since 1998. Her tenure as the manager of the Inn began in 2002. She loves working here because the ownership group is engaged, employees are eager to exceed expectations, and the guests represent happy travelers from all over the globe.

Becca has been with BEST WESTERN PLUS Rio Grande Inn for 14 plus years. My current position is in catering service, I seize every opportunity to enhance our guest experience whether it is in our meeting space or sleeping rooms my wish is to build lasting quality relationship which in return becomes the best referrals. I hope to continue my growth in the service industry and exceed our guest customer experience.

Kelly has been with BEST WESTERN PLUS Rio Grande Inn for almost two years. She has worked in customer service for six years. She makes sure to provide our guests with outstanding service and goes out of her way to make every guest experience special.

Ricardo Villa- Executive Housekeeper

Ricardo has been with BEST WESTERN PLUS Rio Grande Inn for over three years. He has more than twenty years of experience in housekeeping, and has many credentials in this industry. Ricardo makes sure his team is well trained to provide excellent service and meet Best Western Plus standards. He is always ready to go the extra mile for guest satisfaction. Tom Seeber- Chief of Engineering

Tom is certified in Hotel Maintenance by the American Hotel & Lodging Association's Educational Institute. He has over 20 years of hotel maintenance under his belt, 15 years at the Inn. He credits his tenured team for proving that a building with our age can operate as new while showing the beautiful character that only comes with age. He loves his job because he learns something new every day.

Scott Mitchell- Executive Chef

Chef Mitchell has been cooking for more years than he cares to reveal. His creative talents have developed over the years with experience in fine dining, stand-alone restaurants and managing hotel food and beverage operations.  He has mentored many successful cooks and chefs in the market.  He loves to use local ingredients to add flavor to the many home-cooked dishes on our menus. Catered events are his specialty, the more imaginative the better. He has been leading the Kitchen here since 2003.

Kristoff Van Dyke- Restaurant Supervisor

Kristoff has worked in the Albuquerque Bar and Grill for 6 years as bartender, server and supervisor. He is very visible in the restaurant and lounge, and appreciates all guest comments about our service and the quality of our meals and cocktails.  He invites you to join us in the Grill and Zia Lounge while you are here as our guest.
