Celebrate The Holidays In The Southwest

Albuquerque is a beautiful town with plenty to do, especially during the holiday season!

Celebrate The Holidays In The Southwest

Pueblo Gingerbread House Contest

Whether you want to enter a gingerbread creation or just view the works of art that have been submitted, stopping at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center to see the array of houses is worth the time.  This annual contest invites people to design and build ornate, detailed, over-the-top houses out of gingerbread, with all the buildings being inspired by traditional Pueblo structures.  The end result is the museum looking like an edible Native American village!

Trolley Of Lights

The ABQ Trolley Co. offers a special holiday trolley tour to see all of the fabulous light displays across Albuquerque.  The 75 minute tour is a little chilly, but you’ll forget the cold when you see the warm glow of holiday lights filling the streets of town.

Nightmare Before Creepmas Ghost Walk

Maybe you look a little spook with your holiday spirit.  Albucreepy Downtown Ghost Walk hosts this special tour to share some of the darker holiday stories from the Albuquerque area, as well as tales from the Old World.  Along the walk, you’ll stop in at breweries and bars for drinks to ward off the chill.

These events are sure to get you in the holiday spirit while you visit Albuquerque!
